On Oct. 20, China Haisum invited totally 17 leaders and experts of 10 tobacco sheet production enterprises and technical centers including Dr Benyuxia, the chief scientist of FP Innovations, Zhouqiang, the general manager of Hangzhou Liqun Recycled Paper Co., Ltd., Yan Xinlong, the vice president of Taicang Sea Smoke Tobacco Sheet Co., Ltd., Shanghai Tobacco Group Co., Ltd. and other leaders to hold the “Technical Seminar of Applying Cellulose Filaments to Tobacco Sheet Production” in research and development center. Qi Yongyi, the vice president of China Haisum, attended the seminar.
In the seminar, explanation and presentation of the research tests and corresponding results on cellulose filaments’ replacement of ordinary wood pulp in producing tobacco sheet were carried out and the four ongoing technical projects related to tobacco sheet were demonstrated. The participants conducted extensive exchange and discussed the possibility of cooperation on research and development.
