The Company’s general contracting project division has made a new great achievement: With the strong support of the Party and administrative leaders group, the Company won the bid for “the EPC General Contracting Project of In-situ Technological Transformation for Hubei Xinye Tobacco Sheet Development Co., Ltd.” amounting to RMB 367 million, having for the first time employed EPC general contracting pattern in the tobacco industry.

Located in the plant area of Hubei Xinye Tobacco Sheet Development Co., Ltd., carrying a gross investment of RMB 392.7 million, and covering a gross floor area of 18,369 square meters, “the EPC General Contracting Project of In-situ Technological Transformation for Hubei Xinye Tobacco Sheet Development Co., Ltd.” will be developed into a 10,000t/a joint workshop of reconstituted tobacco; furthermore, the Project comprises the construction of mating facilities associated with sewage treatment and other processes.

As the first technological transformation project of industrial enterprise that employs the “Engineering-Procurement-Construction” (EPC) development mode in the tobacco industry, this project carries the owner's great expectations, and marks an important step forward in the revival of Haisum’s tobacco industry.
