On the afternoon of November 16, the bleak weather couldn't hold back the enthusiasm of our project team. The commencement ceremony of the EPC project "phase-II expansion project for surfactant and other products of Toho Chemicals (Shanghai) Co., Ltd." undertaken by the Company was grandly launched in Shanghai Jinshan Second Industrial Zone. General Manager Kenji Nakamura of Toho Chemicals (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. attended the ceremony and announced the official launch of the project; President Bian Junyi attended the commencement ceremony on invitation.
Founded in 1938, Toho Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. is a Japanese listed company engaged in R&D, production and sales. As its core product, surfactant has been developed into over 3,000 specifications & models, which makes this company a globally well-known surfactant supplier.
Covering a floor area of 15,885.62 m2, the phase-II project of Toho Chemical will increase its annual production capacity of surfactants, fine chemicals and polymer chemicals by 8,000t. The official commencement of the present project marks the solid step of China Haisum Engineering Co., Ltd. toward fine chemicals sector, and leaves an indelible mark on the subsequent cooperation with Japanese companies.
Hiroshi Watanabe, Detector of Production Technology Department at Toho Chemicals (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Li Meng, General Manager of Project Management Department of the Company, He Yifan, Manager of Cost & Purchasing Department, Zheng Wen, Deputy General Manager of Division V, and the main leaders of the project constructor and supervisor, etc. were present at the commencement ceremony.
