On December 24, 2020, the delegation led by Haisum's CPC Committee Secretary and Company Chairman Zhao Guoang and Vice President Zhou Yuan visited Wuhan Subsidiary to inspect its targeted poverty alleviation point, Meichao Village, Chengguan Town, Hong'an County, Huanggang, Hubei Province. The delegation inspected the village accompanying with Wuhan Subsidiary's CPC Committee Secretary and Wuhan Subsidiary's Chairman Zhou Bo as well as persons in charge of poverty alleviation.

In the afternoon of December 24, the delegation led by Zhao Guoang drove from the airport straight to the poverty alleviation point and during the trip heard Wuhan Subsidiary's report on carrying out poverty alleviation. Upon arrival, the delegation communicated with cadres of village committee and members of village-based working group to get more information about the local population and cultivated land and had discussion about the poverty alleviation industries and development ideas of the village. After that, the delegation paid a visit and brought household supplies to the residence point of "Five Guarantee Households", and inspected poverty alleviation industries like plant base and processing factory of the kudzu roots, sweet potato cave and chicken farm in Meichao Village and achievements of beautiful village construction.

After comprehensive investigation and inspection, Secretary Zhao fully recognized the achievements made by Wuhan Subsidiary on poverty alleviation and emphasized that targeted poverty alleviation was a significant action that would improve people's livelihood under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core. Wuhan Subsidiary should firmly carry out the spirit of targeted poverty alleviation of the CPC Central Committee, strictly implement the requirements of "being responsible for poverty alleviation, strictly carry out policies, continuously provide assistance and supervision", perform social responsibilities of a state-owned enterprise and continuously reinforce and boost targeted poverty alleviation.
