On the afternoon of March 16, the kick-off meeting for the General Management Information Platform Upgrade Project of Jiangsu Xinyuan Tobacco Sheet Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jiangsu Xinyuan"), undertaken by China Haisum, was successfully held. Liang Ruihai (Party Secretary and General Manager) and Wu Rui (Deputy General Manager) from Jiangsu Xinyuan, as well as Li Shijun (Party Secretary and President) and Zhang Zhi (Executive Vice President) from China Haisum attended the meeting.

Project Overview

China Haisum is partnering with Jiangsu Xinyuan to advance the upgrade of its general management information platform, leveraging digital technologies to bolster the company's development foundation and fuel its transition toward a best-in-class smart factory. The initiative aims to shift corporate management from being experience-driven to being data-enabled.

Through the reconstruction of underlying data models and the integration of IT/OT protocol stacks, China Haisum is transforming production experience into digital capabilities, in response to such challenges as heterogeneous data integration and complex production scheduling. This digital foundation not only supports current business operations but also lays the groundwork for future data analytics and intelligent decision-making, enabling the continuous evolution of the company's manufacturing model.

Project Kick-Off Meeting

During the meeting, the project team presented a detailed report on the organizational structure, work plan, and implementation strategy, setting clear project objectives, execution pathways, and key milestones.

According to Liang Ruihai, the platform upgrade represents a critical step taken by Jiangsu Xinyuan to advance digital transformation and enhance management on the whole. He called for strong organizational commitment and close collaboration with the project team to ensure smooth implementation, expressing the hope that China Haisum's expertise in intelligent manufacturing will inject new momentum into the company's long-term development.

Li Shijun expressed appreciation for Jiangsu Xinyuan's trust and underscored the importance China Haisum places on this partnership. He affirmed that the company will deploy its strongest technical capabilities to ensure high-quality project delivery, with an aim to establish a new benchmark for digital and intelligent transformation in the tobacco industry. He also noted that the project will serve as an opportunity for both sides to further explore innovative applications in smart factory development.

Relevant department heads and key business personnel of Jiangsu Xinyuan, as well as relevant heads of China Haisum's Intelligent Manufacturing Division and Shanghai headquarters, also attended the meeting.
